The Research Group for Social Studies in Science and Technology (GESCIT) is a research group that has a solid theoretical and methodological background in the field of social psychology of science and scientific knowledge and, more specifically, the study of technoscientific innovations. From the experience in this field, on the one hand, we highlight two funded projects focused on the analysis of the psychosocial factors that influence the diffusion, projection and social impact of the spanish scientific activity; on the other hand, two projects focused on the impact of technological innovations in user organizations and their impact on the virtualization of the institutions. In this sense, one of the concerns of the research group is precisely the role that the technoscience has in the dynamics of transformation and social control.
